Der Fall, daß\ sich eine Partikel in einem Potentialfeld mit zwei gleichen Minima bewegt, wird nach dem \textit{Wentzel}-\textit{Kramers}-\textit{Brillouin}verfahren behandelt. Die Energieniveaus gruppieren sich zu Paaren, und der Zweck der Rechnung ist es, den Abstand zweier solcher Niveaus zu finden. Die Überlegungen werden auf das Ammoniakmolekül angewendet.
