This paper is devoted to the discontinuous Galerkin method with an up-winding flux, which is applied to solve Maxwell equations in three different dispersive media, that is, isotropic cold plasma, Debye and Lorentz media. The accuracy of the method is of \(O(h^{k+1/2})\) in the \(L^2\)-norm. Numerical experiments are developed in the final part of this paper.
