The authors study the existence and uniqueness of the solution of second order three point boundary value problems with upper and lower solutions in the reversed order. Sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of solutions are obtained by using the monotone iterative method. Under certain conditions, the iterative sequence for solving a solution is given. Numerical results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
