    Consider the linear switched time-delay system \[ \dot x(t)=A_{\sigma(x(t))}x(t)+B_{\sigma(x(t))}x(t-\tau),\;x(t_0)=x_0, \] \[ x(t)=\psi(t),\;\;t\in[-\tau,0], \] where \(x(t)\in \mathbb R^n\), \(\sigma(x(t)):\mathbb R^n\to\{1,2,\dots,N\}\) is a piecewise constant function, \(\tau>0\) is the time delay. Delay-dependent stability criteria are derived under a state-driven switching law. Lyapunov functionals are used to obtain these conditions and to define stabilizing switching rules. The approach can be applied to cases in which all individual switched systems are unstable. An example is presented to illustrate the proposed schemes.
