The authors find the Lie symmetry vector fields of a \((1+1)\)-dimensional nonlocal shallow water wave equation. Applying these Lie symmetry vectors and a Lagrangian of the partial differential equation conservation laws are derived. Similarity solutions are also constructed from the Lie symmetry vector fields.
