This paper deals with the existence of entire solutions for a class of semilinear Schrödinger elliptic equations with critical Hardy-Sobolev exponent. The main result of this paper establishes the existence of a positive standing wave solution. Due to the lack of compactness, this is performed by using the Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz theorem without the Palais-Smale condition.
