In recent years, the study of group codes has attracted attention to the exploration of conditions for the existence of self-dual group codes. Motivated by research on self-dual extended group codes, the authors consider permutation codes obtained from submodules of a permutation module of a finite group of odd order over a finite field. They prove a sufficient condition for the existence of self-dual extended transitive permutation codes. Also, they give some examples that this condition is not necessary for the existence of such codes.
