The paper is devoted to the topological \({\mathcal K}\)-equivalence of germs of functions definable in o-minimal structures. In particular, the authors prove that each \({\mathcal K}\)-equivalence class has a normal form given by a piecewise linear function. For real analytic maps in two variables, these normal forms can be expressed by combinatorial data that provide complete invariants for \({\mathcal K}\)-eqivalence.
