Constructing sets of constant width in higher dimensions is an interesting task, even in Euclidean space. The same holds true for complete sets and, even more, the related class of reduced sets. The authors present an interesting new construction of complete sets for the case of separable Banach spaces. By this construction they cleverly extend the constructions of \textit{F. Bavaud} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 333, No.~1, 315--324 (1992; Zbl 0760.52004)] as well as of \textit{T. Lachand-Robert} and \textit{É. Oudet} [SIAM J. Optim. 16, No. 2, 368--379 (2005; Zbl 1104.65056)] to a more general context. Their approach is also strongy related to Eggleston's construction of complete sets in finite-dimensional spaces. At the end of the paper, some nice and suggestive examples are presented.
