The authors prove central limit theorems for multidimensional, ballistic random walks in a Gibbsian environment. The Gibbs measure describing the environment is for a finite-range potential (although it is claimed that this assumption can be weakened) and is assumed to satisfy the Dobrushin-Shlosman strong mixing (complete analyticity) condition. Also somewhat weaker results are derived when only the weak mixing condition of Dobrushin-Shlosman holds. Earlier such results were known only for independent environments.
