The authors consider the Cauchy problem for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLS) \[ i\partial_t u = -\Delta u - f(| u| ^2)u, \] where \((t,x) \in \mathbb{R} \times \mathbb{R}^d\), under the assumption that for this equation solitary waves exist and stable. For the functions \(f\) of the form \(f(v) = v^{p-1}\) the latter assumption is satisfied exactly if \(1 < p < 1+\frac{4}{d}\). They prove that for any set \(R_k(x,t)\), \(k=1,\dots, N\), of solitary waves with different speeds there exists an \(H^1\) solution \(U(t)\) to the NLS equation such that it exponentially converges to \(\sum_{k=1}^N R_k\) as \(t \to \infty\).
