This paper classifies connected arc-transitive cubic Cayley graphs on PSL\((2,p)\), where \(p\geq 5\) is a prime number. Let \(p\geq 5\) be a prime number, \(F_p\) a field of \(p\) elements, and \(F'=\{1,\dots,(p-1)/2\}\). For any \(a\in F_p^*\), set \(\lambda(a)=\{a,-a\}\cap F'\). Let \(\Delta(p)\) be the subset of \(F'\) consisting of 1, \(\lambda(\sqrt{2})\) if \(p\equiv \pm 1\pmod 8\), \(\lambda(\sqrt{3})\) if \(p\equiv \pm 1 \pmod {12}\), and \(\lambda(\frac {-1\pm \sqrt{5}}{2})\) if \(p\equiv \pm 1\pmod 5\). Theorem 1.1. Let \(p\geq 5\) be a prime number, \(T=\text{PSL}(2,p)\). Then for any \(\delta\in F'-\Delta(p)\) there exists a connected arc-transitive cubic Cayley graph \(X_\delta\) on \(\text{PSL}(2,p)\). Moreover, each connected arc-transitive cubic Cayley graph on \(\text{PSL}(2,p)\) is \(X_\delta\) for some \(\delta\in F'-\Delta(p)\), \({\text Aut}(X_\delta)\simeq T:S_3\), and \(X_{\delta_1}\simeq X_{\delta_2}\) if and only if \(\delta_1=\delta_2\).
