Let \(J\) be an ideal in a topological space. The authors introduce the concepts of \(J\)-quasi-\(H\)-closedness (i.e., every open cover of \(X\) contains a finite subset \(\{u_1, \ldots, u_n\}\) such that \((X \backslash \text{cl}\bigcup_{i=1}n U_i) \in J)\)) and of \(J\)-\(C\)-compactness (i.e., roughly that each closed subspace of \(X\) is \(J\)-quasi-\(H\)-closed). They characterize these concepts and investigate their relations to each other and to the concept of \(J\)-compactness.
