This paper deals with the study of a non-stationary Ginzburg-Landau type system. This model allows the authors to prove a maximum principle for the order parameter \(f\) which guarantees that \(f\in [0,1]\), provided this condition is verified at the initial instant. Next, the authors establish some existence and uniqueness properties if the temperature is variable and the electromagnetic field vanishes. The asymptotic behaviour of solutions and energy estimates which ensure the existence of a global attractor are also deduced in the present paper. The proofs combine variational arguments with monotone methods.
