The author introduces the notion of dynamic function as a function \(f:I\to F(J)\) where \(I\) and \(J\) are intervals and \(F(J)\) is the algebra of bounded functions \(g:J\to\mathbb{R}\) possessing the one-sided limits \(g(t+), g(t^-)\) for all \(t\in J\). Using such functions as testfunctions he generalizes the classical distribution theory by defining the product between distributions and discontinuous functions, and provides a sufficient condition for viability of solutions of the ordinary differential equations with distributions.
