Let \(\mathbb{H}_2\) be the Siegel upper half plane of degree 2, \(r_0\in \frac{1}{2} \mathbb{Z}\), \(v\) be a multiplier system and \(\varrho\) be a representation of \(\text{GL}(2,\mathbb{C})\) on a vector space \(\mathcal{Z}\). We have a \(\mathcal{Z}\)-valued holomorphic modular form \(f\) with the transformation property \[ f(MZ)=v^r(M) \text{det}(CZ+D)^{r_0 r} \varrho(CZ+D) f(Z), \] for \(Z\in \mathbb{H}_2\) and \(M \in\Gamma \subset \text{Sp}(4,\mathbb{Z}).\) The space of such modular forms are denoted by \([\Gamma,rr_0, v^r,\varrho]\). The structures of the ring of vector valued modular forms have been studied by many researchers with different methods. Recently, \textit{T. Wieber} [Structure theorems for certain vector valued Siegel modular forms of degree two. Heidelberg: University of Heidelberg (Diss.) (2013)] precisely studied the space \([\Gamma[2,4], \frac{r}{2}, v_\Theta^r, \text{Sym}^2]\). Here, \(\Gamma[2,4]\) is an Igusa's subgroup, \(v_\Theta\) is a certain multiplier system. An element \(f\in [\Gamma[2,4], \frac{r}{2}, v_\Theta^r, \text{Sym}^2]\) is a symmetric \(2\times 2\) matrix of holomorphic functions with the transformation law \[ f(MZ)=v_\Theta(M)^r (CZ+D)^{\frac{r}{2}} (CZ+D) f(Z) {}^t (CZ+D) \] for \(M\in \Gamma[2,4]\). His argument was based on the geometry of the modular variety \(\mathbb{H}_2/\Gamma[2,4]\). In the present paper, the authors firstly give another simple proof of the above Wieber's result for \(\Gamma[2,4] \) and \(\text{Sym}^2\). The new method in the present paper is a modification of Wieber's method and can be applied to more cases. In fact, they give a new result for the space \([\Gamma[4,8], \frac{r}{2}, v_\vartheta, \text{St}]\), where \(\Gamma[4,8]\) is another Igusa's subgroup, \(v_\vartheta\) is the theta multiplier system and \(\text{St}\) is the standard representation of \(\text{GL}(2,\mathbb{C})\). Here, \(f\in [\Gamma[4,8], \frac{r}{2}, v_\vartheta, \text{St}]\) satisfies \[ f(MZ)=v_\vartheta(M)^r (CZ+D)^{\frac{r}{2}} (CZ+D) f(Z) \] for \(M\in \Gamma[4,8].\) They determine the precise structure of the ring \( \bigoplus_{r\in \mathbb{Z}} [\Gamma[4,8],\frac{r}{2},v_\vartheta^r,\text{St}] \) of modular forms.
