Recently, Grace and Lalli have studied the differential equation \[ (1)\quad x''(t)+p(t)f_ 1(x(h(t)))g(x'(t))=0,\quad t\geq t_ 0. \] They pointed out that while stability, boundedness and convergence to zero of all solutions of (1), when h(t)\(\equiv t\), have been investigated by many authors, the oscillatory behavior of this equation has not been studied. They then purposed an oscillation criterion for equation (1). The purpose of the present work is to establish two sets of sufficient conditions which insure that all solutions of \[ (2)\quad x''(t)+p(t)f(x(t),x(h(t)))g(x'(t))=0,\quad t\geq t_ 0, \] are oscillatory. These conditions are different from those of Grace and Lalli while extending the results reported previously by the first author.
