    Let \( K \) be a strong commutative hypergroup for which the dual group coincides with the space \( X_b(K) \) of all nonzero continuous multiplicative functions of \( K \). Let \( M(K) \) be the space of all regular complex Borel measures on \( K \) and let \( \kappa \) be a weakly continuous representation of \( M(K) \) on a \( W^ *\)-algebra such that for every \( t\in K \), \( \kappa_t=\kappa(\delta_t) \) is a \( * \)-automorphism, such that the Arveson spectrum \( sp\kappa \) of \( \kappa \) is a spectral set in \( \hat K \) and such that \( \kappa(L^1(K)) \) is without order, i.e. for any \( \mu\in M(K) \), \( \kappa(\mu)\circ \kappa(L^1(K))=\{0\} \) implies that \( \kappa(\mu)=0 \). The authors show that for any \( \mu \) in a closed regular subalgebra of \( M(K) \) containing \( L^1(K) \), one has that \( \sigma(\kappa(\mu))=\overline{\hat\mu(sp\kappa)}\).
