Effect algebras, or equivalently D-posets, are bounded partial algebras that serve as a model of quantum mechanical theory, mainly based on Hilbert space formalism. An unbounded generalized effect algebra can be embedded into a bounded one as a proper ideal. The authors show that two non-isomorphic generalized effect algebras can be embedded into isomorphic effect algebras. Some interesting results concerning Archimedean atomic effect algebras and isomorphisms are proved.
