The paper deals with the study of the behaviour, as \(p\to 1,\) of the renormalized solutions to the problems \[ \begin{cases} -\text{div\,}\left(|\nabla u_p|^{p-2}\nabla u_p\right)=0 & \text{in}\;\Omega,\\ \hfill u_p=0 & \text{on}\;\partial\Omega, \end{cases} \] where \(\Omega\subset\mathbb R^N,\) \(N\geq2,\) is a bounded and Lipschitz continuous domain and \(f\in L^1(\Omega).\) The authors prove that these renormalized solutions converge pointwisely, up to ``subsequences'', to a function \(u,\) which turns out to be a suitably defined solution to the ``limit problem''. Moreover, the situation is analyzed when more regular data \(f\) are considered.
