The laminar boundary layer flow in a power-law non-Newtonian fluid can be modeled by the boundary value problem \[ y''(x)=-xy^{-\frac 1N} (x),\;0<x<1,\quad y(0)=0,\;y'(1)=0.\tag{*} \] The authors determine an approximate solution of (*) in the form \(y(x)=\sum^4_{i=0}y_i(x, \alpha)\) by applying Adomian's decomposition technique, where the skin friction coefficient \(\alpha\) is determined by the condition \(y(0)=0\).
