Let \(p\) be a prime number for which the congruence subgroup \(\Gamma_0(p)^*\) is of genus zero. Here \(\Gamma_0(p)^*\) is the group generated by \(\Gamma_0(p)\) and the Fricke involution \(W_p\). There are only finitely many primes \(p\) for which \(\Gamma_0(p)^*\) is of genus zero. Let \(j_p^*\) denote the Hauptmodul for \(\Gamma_0(p)^*\). If \(p-1\mid 24\), \(j_p^*(\tau)\) can be expressed in terms of \(\eta\)-functions. Singular values of \(j_p^*(\tau)\) at imaginary quadratic arguments \(\tau\) are algebraic integers. This paper considers the ``twisted trace'' of singular values and determine the class polynomial satisfied by singular values. This generalizes a result of \textit{D. Zagier} [Int. Press Lect. Ser. 3, No.~I, 211--244 (2002; Zbl 1048.11035)].
