Let R be the ring of Witt vectors over \(F_ q\) and K its quotient field. Let G be the group \(GL(2,F^ q_ q)\). Let V be a simple KG-module, so that dim V\(=q+1\) or q-1 in the non-trivial cases. The author gives a combinatorial classification of the isomorphism classes of R[G]-lattices in V and thus of the p-local integral representations of G (here \(q=p^ n)\). For each R-lattice X in V, a partial order on the set \(\Gamma\) of composition factors of the reduction mod p of X is defined as follows: \(S\in \Gamma\) is not smaller than \(T\in \Gamma\) if any submodule of X/pX involving S also involves \(\Gamma\). Let \(\Gamma_ X\) denote this poset, and \(G(\Gamma_ X)\) the associated graph. The main theorem is that (i) \(\Xi =G(\Gamma_ X)\) depends only on V and not X (ii) the map \(X\to \Gamma_ X\) is a bijection from the set of isomorphism classes of R[G]- lattices in V to the set of posets on the underlying set \(\Gamma\) and having the associated graph \(\Xi\). The author remarks that in many cases \(\Xi\) coincides with the associated graph of the poset of all subsets of [0,n-1] ordered by inclusion.
