Let V be an R-module and End V an endomorphism algebra. The finite topology on End V, denoted by (End V, fin), is generated by a basis of neighborhoods of 0 which is the family of right ideals \(Ann_{End V}X=\{\phi \in End V\), \(X\phi =0\}\) where X ranges over all finite subsets of V. Main Theorem: Let R be a commutative ring and C a set of 4 elements. For a family of \(2^{\lambda}\) R-algebras \(A_{\rho}\) \((\rho \in 2^{\lambda})\) are equivalent: (1) There exists an R-module V such that \(A_{\rho}\) is a closed subalgebra of (End V, fin) for all \(\rho \in 2^{\lambda}\); (2) If F is any free R-module of rank rk F\(=\lambda \geq rk V\), there exists a system \(U^{\rho}(\rho \in C\cup 2^{\lambda})\) of submodules of \(V\otimes F\) such that End(V\(\otimes F\), U k (k\(\in C)\), \(U^{\gamma}/U^{\delta})=id_{\gamma \delta}.A_{\gamma}\otimes l_ F\) for all \(\gamma,\delta \in 2^{\lambda}\). This extends a results of \textit{A. L. S. Corner} [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., III. Ser. 13, 687-710 (1963; Zbl 0116.024)].
