We study the Hodge structure of even-dimensional quadric bundles X over \({\mathbb{P}}^ 2\). To X is associated a surface S: the double cover of \({\mathbb{P}}^ 2\) ramified over the discriminant curve C parametrising the singular fibers. One can associate to X two theta-characteristics on C: the first one by comparing the Hodge structure of X and S, the second one geometrically. This last divisor determines the isomorphism class of X. One shows that these two divisors are the same at least in two cases which are generic in a certain sense. This allows us to conclude that the generic Torelli theorem is true for the intersection of three quadrics in \({\mathbb{P}}^{2m+1}\) and for a cubic hypersurface in \({\mathbb{P}}^{2m+3}\) containing a 2m-plane.
