Uniform hypoelliptic Green's functions (Q1128298): Difference between revisions

The authors construct an explicit fundamental solution for a class of subelliptic operators with polynomially growing coefficients. These operators also occur in the analysis of CR manifolds. While a number of qualitative results are known from the point of view of the regularity (or the propagation of (some kind of) singularities) explicit constructions have been made only in very few cases. The technique employed here uses the group symmetry of the equation in order to represent the solution of a p.d.e. in a lower number of variables.
