The author considers a real system (1) \(X'=AX+P(t,X)\), where \(A=(a_{ik})\) is an \(n\times n\) matrix, \(j\) with \(1\leq j\leq n\) a fixed integer, \(a_{ik}=0\) for \(k>j\) and \(P=(p_ 1,\dots,p_ n)\) uniformly Lipschitz continuous in \([0,\infty)\times \mathbb{R}^ n\). The upper left \(j\times j\) matrix \(A_ j=(a_{ik}: 1\leq i, k\leq j)\) is assumed stable, i.e., \(\text{Re }\lambda_ i\leq \lambda<0\) for all eigenvalues of \(A_ j\). Among other results on the boundedness of solutions, two theorems are proved: (i) There exists a bounded solution to equation (1) if the \(p_ i(t,x)\) are bounded for \(1\leq i\leq j\) and \(p_ k(t,X) \text{sign }x_ k\to \infty\) uniformly (in a certain sense) as \(| x_ k|\to\infty\) for \(j<k\leq n\). (ii) Let \(P(t,X)=P_ 0(x)+P_ 1(t,X)\) with \(P_ 1(t,X)=P_ 1(t+\theta,X)\). If the first assumption of (i) is satisfied and the second one is satisfied by the components \(p_{0k}\) of \(P_ 0(x)\), then (1) admits a \(\theta\)-periodic solution.
