The two matrices mentioned in the title are \(3\times 3\) matrices whose components are uniquely defined in terms of six three-dimensional eigenvectors within the two-dimensional homogeneous anisotropic linear elastostatics. In such a theory, a three-dimensional displacement vector is given by \(u_ i=a_ if(z)\), where \(z=x_ 1+px_ 2\), \(f\) is an arbitrary function of \(z\), and the pair \((a_ i,p)\) stands for an eigensolution \((i=1,2,3)\). The author proves that both these matrices are orthogonal, Hermitian and positive definite. He also provides a diagonalization of the matrices. The reviewer believes that the title of paper, involving symbols \(A\) and \(B\) that could be replaced by any other two letters of alphabet, is somewhat unfortunate.
