To every lattice \(L\) one can assign a triple \((X_L, \perp , Y_L)\), where \(X_L\) and \(Y_L\) are the spaces of all ideals or of all filters of \(L\) and \(\perp \) is a binary relation between \(X_L\) and \(Y_L\). It was proven by \textit{R. I. Goldblatt} [Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 7, 45-48 (1975; Zbl 0301.06006)] that for an ortholattice \(L\) and the relation: \(x\perp y\) iff \(\exists a \in x\), \(\neg a \in y\) (where both of \(X_L\), \(Y_L\) are filter spaces) these triples \((X_L, \perp , Y_L)\) are the dual objects of ortholattices. The present authors show that when taking \(X_L\) to be the filter space and \(Y_L\) to be the ideal space of an arbitrary lattice \(L\) and the relation to be defined by \(x\perp y\) iff \(x\cap y \not = \emptyset \), then the triples \((X_L, \perp , Y_L)\) are dual objects, and they describe the topological space induced by these duals.
