Authors considers Lagrange interpolation in the rational system \(\left\{ 1,{1\over x-a_1}, {1\over x-a_2}, \dots, {1\over x-a_{n-1}} \right\}\) and \(\left\{ {1\over x-a_1}, {1\over x-a_2}, \dots, {1\over x-a_n} \right\}\) based on the zeros of Chebyshev polynomials of the first kind constructed for the first of the above systems. It is shown that almost all elementary properties of the classical Chebyshev polynomials hold in this case. This interpolation is successfully applied to design quadrature rules to integrate functions having poles outside the interval of integration.
