The present study is an investigation of the behaviour of plasma, bounded in the longitudinal direction by absorptive walls. The model contains the charged particles (electrons, ions), which are born in pairs in a region of the distributed source. The electrostatic ``particles in a cell'' method is used. Emmert's model for a volume source is added to this method. For the starting moment of time the velocities of particles are picked out by accident from the Maxwellian distribution. The results of calculations for a different number of large particles per space grid cell in the initial state, are presented.
