The projective Figueroa planes can be constructed from Pappian planes using a cyclic group of order 3 consisting of planar collineations [see the reviewer, J. Geom. 26, 191-201 (1986; Zbl 0595.51010)]. The author considers generalizations of this construction by using elements from a finite cyclic group of planar collineations. She proves that the projective planes obtained by this generalized construction are either Pappian planes or Figueroa planes.
