A logarithmic 1-form \(\omega\) is defined in the case of a \(k\)-dimensional projective space. If \(\varphi_I\) and \(\varphi_J\) are to logarithmic \(k\)-forms with respect to \(\omega\), then their intersection number is defined by \(\langle\varphi_I, \varphi_J\rangle\). The author evaluates explicitly the intersection numbers by using only the Stokes theorem and the residue theorem. It is suggested that the method can be also applied to the computation of intersection numbers for 1-forms associated with confluent hypergeometric functions or with Selberg-type integrals.
