Boundaries of groups which admit a geometric action on CAT(0) spaces are not yet well-defined because the homeomorphism question of Gromov's has not been answered. In this paper this question, as well as the Tits metric question is answered affirmatively for CAT(0) groups of the form \(G\times H\) when both factors are nonelementary word hyperbolic groups.
