It was shown that, given a matrix \(A\), if \(A+A^T<0\) then \(A\) is a Hurwitz matrix. In this paper it is shown that a Hurwitz matrix may be factorized as \(A=GL\) where \(G+G^T>0\) and \(L=L^T>0\). It is also shown that the set of all Hurwitz matrices in \(R^n\) is a simply connected cone in \(R^n\) with its vertex at the origin.
