The Dirac equation and its Clifford algebraic form obtained by Hestenes is reformulated by the algebra of complex quaternions. This algebra, sometimes called Pauli algebra also, is a non-simple real Clifford algebra. Using complex geometry and the polar decomposition of operator spinors an invariant geometric form of Dirac's equation is presented.
