The connection of critical phenomena in two dimensions with conformal minimal models of the extended Virasoro algebra is essential for effectively calculating critical exponents, and the determination of the universality classes reduces to the problem of finding all extensions. The authors study a class of conformal nonabelian Toda models with a global \(U(1)\) symmetry and \(\text{SL}(2,R)/U(1)\)-type parafermions. The conserved currents are derived, their algebra is determined, and the exact solution of these models is constructed. Nonlocal currents indicate the presence of some underlying quantum group structure. It is pointed out that the charges generate the affine \(\text{SL}(2,R)_q\) algebra. The renormalization of the spins of the nonlocal currents is the main new feature of the quantum \(VA_n\)-algebras.
