On the approximation of some nonlinear evolution equations (Q1315157): Difference between revisions

We discuss the time discretization of the following abstract differential problem in Hilbert spaces \[ {du\over dt}+ ABu\ni 0,\quad 0< t\leq T,\quad u(0)= u_ 0, \] where \(A\) is a linear and coercive operator and \(B\) is a monotone (possibly multivalued) operator, and present some applications to parabolic partial differential equations.
