The authors consider the first order neutral delay differential equation (1) \(x'(t) - cx'(t - \tau) + p(t) x(t-\sigma) = 0\), where \(c, \tau, \sigma\) are positive real numbers, \(0<c<1\) and \(p:[0;+ \infty) \to [0;+ \infty)\) is a bounded continuous function. Under certain hypotheses, some asymptotic behaviour results about the solutions of (1) are obtained.
