    A continuum is called spatial if it cannot be covered by a hypersurface. In other words, a continuum \(K\) is called spatial if the difference \(K\smallsetminus M\) is nonempty for any hypersurface \(M\). The main result of the present article consists in constructing a thin spatial continuum in the plane \(\mathbb{R}^2\). Certainly, with an example in the plane available, one can trivially construct analogous examples in Euclidean spaces of higher dimensions.
