Nine different definitions of finiteness for fuzzy sets are given (cardinal, weak cardinal, Kuratowski, Dedekind, strongly Dedekind, Stackel, bornological, Tarski and T-finiteness). Their mutual relations are studied as well as closure properties with respect to algebraic set operations.
