The eigenfunctions of an ergodic family of discretized Schrödinger operators \(H_\omega\) are studied. The particular interest is directed towards a uniform bound on the exponential decay, i.e., the eigenfunctions are bounded \(C\exp (-\gamma|m-x|)\) where \(C\) and \(\gamma\) are independent of the eigenfunction whereas \(m\) may depend on it. It is shown under suitable assumptions on the potential, that the absence of point spectrum in some interval for sufficiently many \(\omega\) implies that there is no uniform localization in that interval.
