The authors show that the torus \(\Omega= \{((x_1^2+x_2^2+x_3^2)^{1/2}- R)^2+x_4^2<1\}\) in \(\mathbb{R}^4\) has the Pompeiu property, i.e. the equality \[ \int_{\sigma(\Omega)} f=0,\qquad f\in C(\mathbb{R}^4), \] for all rigid motions \(\sigma\) implies that \(f=0\). The related Pompeiu problem is generally open, and the authors give complete references to recent work.
