For discrete-time time-varying systems a complete solution is given for the problem of finding a stabilizing controller with a given level of disturbance attenuation which in addition minimizes the entropy of the closed loop input-output operator. The entropy is defined as an operator with block diagonal matrix representation obtained from the spectral factorization of the input-output operator; the ordering is the one of positive-definite operators.
