On-diagonal estimates on Schrödinger semigroup kernels and reduced heat kernels (Q1365873): Difference between revisions

Various estimates on the kernels \(k_t(x,y)\) of Schrödinger semi-groups are proven. The first main result gives an exponential upper bound on the diagonal elements of \(k_t\) under the assumption that the potential grows at least polynomially and a certain Nash inequality holds. Furthermore, large time estimates for the kernel are proven where the exponential bound in time is controlled by the smallest eigenvalue of the Schrödinger operator. Eventually, also lower bounds on the kernel are obtained.
