On Cartan homotopy formulas in cyclic homology (Q1383238): Difference between revisions

\textit{J. Cuntz} and \textit{D. Quillen} [J. Am. Math. Soc. 8, No. 2, 373-442 (1995; Zbl 0838.19002)] showed that the action of the derivations of a quasi-free algebra on its \(X\)-complex is null-homotopic. In this paper the author studies the analogous action for a quasi-free DGA (and also the action of the coderivations of a quasi-free differential graded coalgebra). He obtains Cartan homotopy formulas describing the action of the Hochschild cochain complex on the cyclic homology bicomplex.
