The authors consider conical domains in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) of the form \(C_n(\Omega)= \{ry: r>0, y\in\Omega\}\), where \(\Omega\) is a \(C^{2,\alpha}\)-domain in the unit sphere. The Martin boundary of \(C_n(\Omega)\) can be identified with \(\partial C_n(\Omega)\cup\{\infty\}\), and each Martin boundary point is minimal. The main results (Theorems 1 and 2) of this paper establish criteria of Wiener type for a set \(E\subset C_n(\Omega)\) to be minimally thin at \(\infty\) with respect to \(C_n(\Omega)\), and also for \(E\) to be rarefied (a related notion of thinness) at \(\infty\) with respect to \(C_n(\Omega)\). They imply previously known results for the specal case where \(C_n(\Omega)\) is a halfspace.
