This paper is concerned with the asymptotic stability of traveling relaxation shock profile for hyperbolic conservation laws. It is proved that under the sub-characteristics condition the initial value problem of hyperbolic conservation laws with relaxation is asymptotic stable near the equilibrium. The proof is based on the energy principle with weighted norm. In the proof the interaction of waves with various modes is analyzed carefully.
