The paper is devoted to the determination of eigenmodes of the Laplacian on the \(3\)-sphere. A solution is found and shown that the eigenfunctions form a basis on the \(3\)-sphere. The action of an orientation preserving isometry on the eigenmodes is calculated. The corresponding eigenspaces of lens spaces and prism spaces are finally constructed.
