    The authors deal with an a priori estimate of the maximum modulus of solutions to a system of diagonally degenerate elliptic equations, that is, they consider \[ -{\partial\over\partial x^\alpha} \Biggl(a^{\alpha\beta}(x,u,\nabla u){\partial u^i\over\partial x^\beta}\Biggr)+ B_i(x,u,\nabla u)= f_i(x),\;i=1,2,\dots, N.\tag{1} \] Here they present an a priori estimate of the maximum modulus of solutions to (1) in the case of \(p> 2\), where \(p\) is the exponent in the Sobolev space \(\mathring W^1_p(\Omega)\).
